NHRA Update: Bad break (literally) will keep Frank Pedregon out of Las Vegas Funny Car field

Frank Pedregon’s plans of competing at the Denso Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals were dashed Friday when he suffered a broken leg in a passenger car accident.

Pedregon, who kicked off the season in the Worsham Family Racing’s Lucas Oil Toyota Camry Funny Car, was traveling on a surface street when a car pulled out in front of him and he subsequently collided with the vehicle.
